PICKLED RED ONIONS

PICKLED RED ONIONS

You will find a lot of recipes for pickling onions. Some put sugar, or mustard seeds, some add bay leaves and pepper flakes. I kept mine simple – 2 ingredients and then you can add it to so may dishes. Salads, rice bowls, avocado toast. You get the onion flavour without the acrid raw onion taste that tends to linger.
