WHITE CHOCOLATE COVERED PRETZELS
These pretzels have become a yearly treat. I have made them every Christmas for the past few years. They are a hit with guests and as presents. There’s something about that sweet and salty bite that makes them perfect.
Make a lot of them…they are very addictive.
WHITE CHOCOLATE COVERED PRETZELS
Course Dessert
Servings 240 grams
Ingredients
- 240 gram bag of pretzel crisps recommended: Snack Factory
- 1 cup white chocolate
- coloured sugar for decoration
Instructions
- Fill a pot half way with water and bring to boil. Place a heat proof glass bowl onto of the pot. This is your double boiler.
- Add the white chocolate to the bowl and let the chocolate melt. Stir with a spatula to help it melt.
- Dip the pretzel half way into the white chocolate and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Sprinkle with coloured sugar.
Notes
I like Pretzel Crips because they are flat so the chocolate sits nicely on it as does the sprinkles.Â
You can use any kind of decoration, but I prefer the coloured sugar. It makes the perfect bite. I’ve used fancier candies in the past and it’s just too much.Â
When I make these at Christmas time, I give them as gifts and take them to parties so I buy a bug bag from Costco.Â
