My favourite cookies are oatmeal cookies. I always make them with dates or raisins. This time I tried a few different things. I swapped out the butter for oat margarine which worked really well, it enhanced the oat flavour. I then added warming spices like

There are some spice mixes in the stores that are convienant. I saw cinnamon sugar and it’s so expensive to get it premade when it’s just two ingredients that you most likely have in your pantry.

This is by far my favourite iced tea. It’s almost like to dessert. It’s sweet and creamy with all these wonderful spices infused into it. I look forward to making this in the summer, but can be savoured anytime of the year.

These make for a great snack. With lots of walnuts and sprouted flax they are also super nutritious. I like to make a big batch of them and store them in the freezer, then I can pop them in my mouth whenever I want.

These are my favourite oatmeal cookies. They are good with raisins, but the dates give them a sweeter, chewier texture. The mix of the two kinds of oats gives it a nice texture as well.
