APPLE SPRITZ

When in was in Austria I tired this drink called apple spritz. It’s two ingredients – apple juice and sparkling water. I wanted to recreate the drink here at home but our apple juice is not the same as theirs. I have found however, that our apple cider is similar. I made it and it’s pretty close and a new way to have apple cider. 

I usually have apple cider warm and steeped in spices, but to have it cold with a splash of sparking water makes a nice drink or even a start to a cocktail.

Ingredients

  

• 2 cups apple cider
• 1 cup sparking water

Instructions

 

• Pour apple cider and sparking water into a pitcher and stir.
• Serve over ice.

Notes

This is best made to serve so the sparking water doesn’t go flat.
