BUENOS ARIES
CASA COUPAGE
This is a closed door restaurant. A reservation is a must. It’s a couple that runs the place. The wife is the chef and her husband is a sommelier. This dinner is an experience. You get seven courses that are paired with wine. The wine is specifically chosen for you depending on the meal and your tastes. At the end we had about 10 glasses of wine and a delicious dinner which included dessert and a cheese plate.
NININIA BAKERY
Lovely brunch place in the trendy Palermo area. They have great coffee, as well as a variety of delicious cakes and tarts. I had brunch when I was there, but they also serve sandwiches, burgers, etc. All really good quality and delicious.
LA CABRERA NORTE
The first night we were in Buenos Aires we went here for dinner. We ordered a steak with fries and little accompaniments like beets, veggies, cabbage, salsa, chimichurri. The portions are huge. We ordered one steak and that was good for two people.
Dinner time is late in Argentina, usually around 9pm. When we were there, they had 1/2 price dinners before 7pm.
