STRAWBERRY PINK PEPPERCORN PROSECCO

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bottle prosecco chilled
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • ¼ tsp pink peppercorns
  • 2 strips lemon peel
  • cup sugar
  • ¼ cup water

Method
 

  1. In a pot on medium heat, add the frozen strawberries, sugar, pink peppercorns, and lemon peel.
  2. Let simmer till the strawberries breakdown.
  3. Once the sugar it melted and the berries an bubbling in their juices, mash the berries to break them up. Let simmer for 5 more minutes.
  4. Take off heat and let cool. Put in a blend and blend to a smooth puree.
  5. Distribute mixture into 4 champagne glasses. Pour prosecco in the glasses and serve.
