STRAWBERRY PINK PEPPERCORN PROSECCO

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bottle prosecco chilled
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • ¼ tsp pink peppercorns
  • 2 strips lemon peel
  • cup sugar
  • ¼ cup water

Instructions
 

  • In a pot on medium heat, add the frozen strawberries, sugar, pink peppercorns, and lemon peel.
  • Let simmer till the strawberries breakdown.
  • Once the sugar it melted and the berries an bubbling in their juices, mash the berries to break them up. Let simmer for 5 more minutes.
  • Take off heat and let cool. Put in a blend and blend to a smooth puree.
  • Distribute mixture into 4 champagne glasses. Pour prosecco in the glasses and serve.
