There are no measurements as you can make as many or as little as you want.
- whole wheat pitas cut into pieces
- olive oil
- sea salt flaked
Prehat oven to 400°F.
Brush one side of the pita with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt.
Cut them into pieces and place on a baking sheet in an even layer.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Take out of the oven and let cool so you can touch them.
These pita chips are made to order. They are best right out of the oven.
I used whole what pitas, but plain ones are just as good.
If you are making a lot, do a mix of both.
I was serving these with hummus. But honestly, it's so good you could just eat it on its own.
And on its own, you can jazz them up with some spices such as:
Zaatar, harissa, oregano, herbs de provence, chilli, paprika, cinnamon, and cumin
Just sprinkle the spice over with the salt.
